Competition Idea

I have an idea for a competition, but I want to know what you guys think.  Hitched is coming to a close, and I am between doing a second cycle of Hitched or this.  I'll put up a poll shortly after I make this post to see what you guys think.

The title of the competition would be:
Modeling Killed the Radio Star
The idea behind it would be your sim is alone or part of a band as an upcoming music star.  Can be any genre, rock, pop, hip hop, country, even death metal.  All up to you.  The assignments would be things like first cd cover, first grammy award, a still shot from a music video, etc.  I think it would be insanely fun to do and fun to host.  If I did this, I would want to go all out and have it hosted by "SimTV".  I even made a little (simple) logo already:

That's just for SimTV.  I'd even consider making the old school Mtv VJ's as sims...  (Jesse camp anyone? lol) or have someone else help me with that.  I'm not good at making celebrity sims.  

I know a lot of people had serious fun with Hitched... including me, and I'd hate to let it go.  Maybe I could do one now then one later.  When I post the poll, please put your input!!!

I'm Going to Poop Rainbows for a Week

I have been wanting to do something cool like this for a long time.  After Casey told me to google rainbow cake, I decided to try making rainbow tye dye cupcakes.  Basically it's simple.  Take food coloring, the GOOD stuff, and just partition your cake mix into separate bowls, however many colors you want.  Mix in the food coloring, and pour one color on the bottom of the cups, then another, etc.  I'm going to be a sloppy blogger and just type then post awesome pics.  I also did the cool thing where you incorporate pudding into your cake batter.  I used french vanilla cake mix and white chocolate pudding :D

And I know, I've been losing weight and I don't need to stop here.  This was really done for the fun of it more than the food itself =P

Sometimes I know this can be a personal matter, and I don't want to paste it up everywhere, but I just wanted to say my thoughts and prayers are with a certain friend and her family.  Some of you may know who I'm talking about.  Even if you are not a praying person, just be thinking about them.

Some more whining plus pomegranate hair... what?!

No one online and really don't want to be alone right now. :(  Seeing things (in movies or at work is something I can usually handle but not last night.  I will not elaborate, but I was so angry and upset that it was allowed to happen in spite of my attempts to stop it, and no one else was doing/saying anything.  >:(  I'm horrified and upset to my stomach still and its been over 6 hours.

Next up on Amber's whining list: the forums.  I'm not saying I'm leaving the forums, but it's getting more frustrating/annoying than anything to try to be a participant in competitions and a host.  I kind of want to not join any (at least on the forums) after the ones I am in/hosting are finished due to the poor reliability.  I know its not life and death, but surely they must know that there is a problem.  When I go to customer support, it seems more game oriented, so I'm not sure that's the best method of action.  REALLY dissatisfied with EA's customer service.  I hate that its such a good game they continue to get my hard earned money. :(  What would they do if everyone got frustrated and just stopped?  Just close them?  Ugh.

Moving on, so I'm not Ms. Negative, I have pictures of my hair.  My friend and I experimented with it and I absolutely love the results:

Is that all it takes?

I don't particularly want to get caught up in drama, but there's something that has really been bothering me.  Where shall I start...

Someone makes a simple, reasonable request:  Please try to refrain from profanity.  Now I will admit I cuss like a sailor IRL.  But I understand that it may offend some people and also there are younger peeps online whose parents may check up on once in a while and just might not be too happy if they see the "F word" every other line.  So is it not a reasonable request that some refrain from the language?

Apparently not.  I guess you're a dictator and a tyrant and no one can have fun.  It's not even necessarily the cursing itself but the attitude when asked to avoid.  I just think its kind of lame to be someone's "friend" and then the minute you disagree with a request, you find you just have to seek freedom from the oh so horrible repression and THEN to add insult, you have a spy lurking and any time something else is said someone might not agree with, BRING IN THE TROOPS, WE'RE AT WAR!

Sorry.  I just had to get that off my chest.  I really hope the majority of the drama ended tonight.
