There are two comps with wonderful ideas focused on giving a helping hand to the modeling community and I just really want to share them and get the word out there.  One is here on unbound:

I had been waiting for this round of Canvas for ages and I wasn't let down.  Just want to show off the extremely talented entries we had this round:

I apologize that I hadn't been updating Canvas on cloudTen like I had planned.  Seems the past month or so I've barely had time to run things as is.  Besides with so many other great modeling forums up and running now, no real reason to worry too much about it lol.  Almost a relief because I need to focus on the house, jewelry, etc.

ANYway just wanted to show off these pics because I'm super proud.  Haven't had any drops in a while and these peeps are just submitting one amazing pic after another.  I really hate to let any of them go, but I'd run out of assignments lol.

Runaway Thread

So... omigawd.  I decided to catch up on some of my reading, and read some of Kami's "The Art of Forgetting".  (BTW, it's awesome so far, Kami!)

Well so I thought I'd tell her how awesome it was, when I had some forum difficulties on cloudTen.  The page messed up, and wasn't loading my post.  So I tried again.. Two times max.  Now listen.  You thought the EA forums were bad... I saw like five posts on there.  What I said posted five times.  So I started deleting.... well more and more popped up.  So at first I thought, "omuhgawd... it's reposting every time I delete."  So I made a post explaining what happened to Kami and apologized.  Well Blair realized that one was reposting, and reposting and reposting.  She made a post to see if it was just me.  Well it wasn't.  Her's was reposting and resposting.  Within minutes Kami's thread was on page seven and my post count went up by 100 and Kami's thread went to seven pages.

I'm embarrassed to say how long it took me to think to lock the thread.  I'm going to try deleting the excessive posts and unlock again and see if that works.   Hey, at least you might not feel as crappy about the EA forums. lol.

Helpful Hints for Judging Competitions

I want to say thank you, PistolKitten for your support!  And many thanks to Sun and Blair putting up with my barrage of questions!!  

I'm really hoping this helps judges and contestants both to improve and that no one feels especially insulted.  I think I was a bit overwhelmed with judging when I first started, and still can be.  I think even just trying to gather from Sun and Blair and others what people want is helping me as well. 

I might be finished

I usually try to avoid posting about things of this nature, but if this isn't just some weird temporary thing, then I will soon be finished with the EA forums.  (After my modeling comps are finished.)  This whole awaiting approval from a mod thing?  This is a moderated forum?  Just what are you trying to crack down on now?  I really wasn't super "OMG I hate EA" till now.  I did get slightly annoyed at some excessive bannage, but I didn't really much put too much worry on it.  Now this is just a bit much.  I feel like we're all in a classroom and a 5th grade teacher is constantly yelling for us to "use our 6 inch voices".  I'm done with it.  It's not fun, so why even bother?
